TK9 CONDUCTS ITS FIRST CLASS WITH GALLUP K9 UNIT / APRIL OF 2011
TK9 conducts its first full 5 day class with Gallup K9 Unit. After evaluating the unit and working out administrative issues we were able to start off the first of many classes. TK9 is looking forward to advancing this fine unit. We were off to a great start following this class. Much thanks to Sergeant Edwin Yazzie for organizing and making this a reality.

Tactical K9 CEO (Doug Roller) has known Kenny Licklider since the early 90’s. During his time as an LAPD Assistant and current head trainer he has selected many fine canines from VLK. It was a pleasure to be asked to instruct at judge at this great VLK event. Handlers from all over the world attended and participated in the challenging event. TK9 CONDUCTS SECOND 5 DAY BASIC CLASS FOR THE GALLUP PD K9 UNIT SEPTEMBER OF 2011
TK9 conducted its second full 5 day classes for this fine unit. Basic and advanced E-collar use as well as off lead search work were instructed. Classroom lectures on perimeter containment tactics as well as risk management issues were discussed.
TK9 CONDUCTS 5 DAY E-COLLAR WORKSHOP FOR SEVERAL SAN DIEGO PD K9 UNITS OCTOBER OF 2011
TK9 conducted a 5-day E-collar course for several surrounding San Diego K9 Units. Including but not limited too Police and Sherrifs Units, Chula Vista, California Highway Patrol, to name a few. The course was very well recieved and a special thanks to Pete and Hollie Stevens for coordinating this event.
TK9 CONDUCTS 5 – DAY E-COLLAR WORKSHOP FOR SOUTHBEND K9 NOVEMBER 0F 2011
TK9 was requested by the Southbend K9 Unit to conduct an introduction class on the proper use of the collar. In a short 5 days we were able to have all teams working off lead and on their way to off lead search tactics. A great group of dedicated teams and great leadership.
